The Indomitable Spirit of Mumbai

This week saw the century’s worst rains hitting Aamchi Mumbai, the city where most of us belong, the city which we all love so much. And reading all the articles about the Mumbai Rains made me realise why. There are numerous tales on all websites about unsung heroes and heroines who helped total strangers cope with the difficult times. It is this indomitable spirit of the people of Mumbai that makes it so great. Not the money, not the facilities, not the handful rich, but the common people and their spirit. Ask any Mumbaikar and he will tell you how he has felt this spirit at one point of time or another. Feels really great to be a part of such a wonderful place. Kudos to Mumbai and all Mumbaikars.
