Brief Review: A german film that deservedly won the Oscar for best foreign film in 2006. A political thriller that begins before the fall of the Berlin wall, the story revolves around a devoted Stasi (secret police) in Easy Germany whose motive is to know everything about the 'lives of others'. His viewpoints however change as he delves deeper into the lives of a writer and his girlfriend he is surveilling.
Intriguing storyline and excellent performances. A must see if you dont mind watching a movie with subtitles.
